Cowrica is a cooperative of people. The cooperative plans to own real estate, businesses, and invest in corporations. Individual members save periodically towards a project, pushed into a faster success by a collective effort. We help members in times of difficulties, during major purchases, and when going through life's events.

Every member is a shareholder who gets profits from the success of the venture.

You can join and exit anytime. Your share/membership interest will be returned to you when you separate.

Ajo/Esusu

The Esusu/Ajo runs periodically in these cycles - three (3), six (6), nine (9) or twelve (12) months cycles.

Steps

1. Determine the amount based on your capacity.

2. Determine the duration - 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.

3. The collection time is the last month of the Contribution period.

Should you need a loan, 10% APR will be charged and removed upfront.

Maximum unsecured loan amount is $10, 000, for a maximum of 6 months. This maximum will be determined from time to time by the Board.

Payment is Bi-weekly.

Note $3 must be added to each forwarded contribution payment for administrative processing.

Mortgage Down payment

You can get a loan towards the down payment of a primary home structured as a GIFT (to eliminate PMI (Premium Mortgage Insurance)), but you must have been a member for at least two years.

You can get a loan to buy a car (16k maximum, for not more than 2 years).

Money Transfer

We can help you send money back to any African country at the prevailing black market rate with no fee. Rates will be displayed daily when the service commences.

Do you have a small business, or intend to start one? We provide small business start-up/incorporation services, IT installation and support, as well as including business websites building and maintenance.
